Next Day Delivery Available

Delivery & Returns

All products come with an option including FREE UK Mainland delivery. Due to safes varying greatly in size and weight however, there are different ways in which you can receive your safe, the below provides further detail on all available services.

On all the individual product pages you will see a detailed breakdown of all delivery services available below is the terminology you will find across the site.

Nearly all of the safes sent to you on a Drop Off delivery service will be sent to you directly from the manufacturer. Based on the weight and courier company used, different delivery and tracking information will be available – you will find further details confirmed on specific product pages.

Next Working Day Deliveries

Most products can be delivered on the next working day on a Drop Off Delivery basis if ordered before 1pm. Most products that weigh less than 30kgs are also trackable with SMS messages and emails sent to contact details provided, advising of a 1 hour delivery slot on the morning of the delivery.

Drop Off / Kerbside delivery

A Drop Off / Kerbside delivery is the quickest way we can ship the products to you. Items weighing less than 30kgs will be sent with a courier like service like DPD or UKMail. If your item weighs more than 30kgs it will be sent via a pallet delivery company and will deliver to your property. In the eventuality that there are steps to negotiate to your front door the delivery driver may have to “drop off” the item on the driveway or kerbside. In all instances the delivery company will make every attempt to deliver your product as expected, however negotiating steps and gravel driveways with pallet trucks and heavy safes can prove difficult and may result in the safe being delivered on the kerbside if present.

Position Delivery Service

A position delivery is where a specialist delivery crew will take the safe or product into your property and situate it on a ground floor location. Allowing for 1 step access into or within the property the crew will demount the item from the pallet, unwrap all packaging and place in your desired location. This service can also be provided for the same price to an upper floor should a suitable lift be available.

Installation Service

An installation service will result in the safe being bolted to the floor or walls dependent on the available fixing points offered by the individual product and the material we can use to install the safe. The best material for a safe to be fixed to and the most commonly approved by insurance companies, is an installation that results in a bolt down into concrete.

Like a position delivery a ground floor installation will allow, on most occasions, for access or negotiation of 1 step.

Standard ground floor installation is a bolt down service into a concrete floor, should underfloor heating or pipes be present in the property this may prevent the bolt down being complete. Please advise our sales agents if underfloor heating or exposed pipes are located in the area you wish to install your safe.

Delivery to an upper or floor via stairs

With our own in house crew (a rarity for online safe sellers) we can accommodate every type of delivery situation. For installation or position deliveries via stairs further information is required to provide a price for the delivery service.

We can accommodate a flat rate fee as best as possible if the stairs are straight and the weight of the safe is less than 300kg.

Scottish Highlands, Islands and Extremities

Purchases being delivered to the Scottish Highlands, the Isles, Northern Ireland and Republic of Ireland will have additional delivery costs incurred dependent on the service required.  In order to provide you with the most accurate price please contact us.

Timed delivery and tracking information

Due to the variety of delivery companies used there is naturally a number of different ways in which they track and notify on expected times of delivery.

Nearly all products weighing less than 30kgs will be sent via a trackable delivery method from DPD or UkMail and if a mobile number is provided with your order an SMS will be sent on the day of delivery indicating a 1 hour window the delivery will be made.

Position and installation services will be completed within a 7-10 working days from the date of the order and will be booked in with a phone call or email to advise of the delivery date.

Position and installation services are conducted from 8am onwards Monday – Friday. Following an order, customers will be provided with a delivery or installation slot (morning or afternoon) at the earliest opportunity. Our engineers will always call on the day to advise of a more accurate ETA.

Abandoned Orders – Position or Installation deliveries

In the event of a failed or abandoned order (potentially due to incorrect delivery information provided at the time of the order) an additional charge will be incurred for the attempted delivery. Examples where an abandoned order may occur are:

Information provided on the amount of steps into or within a building
Parking or delivery vehicle access issues
Unusable or unsuitable lift
Difference in flooring material stated.

Orders placed on Saturday and Sunday.

Please note all orders placed over the weekend will be despatched on the next working day – stock dependent as this may change over the course of the weekend.

Returns and Refunds

All About Safes aim to always provide high quality goods that are undamaged and fault free. On occasion however, we understand that goods may need to be returned.

This policy is offered in addition to your statutory rights.

Purchases may be returned to All About Safes for a refund by emailing us at or contacting us through our contact us page.

Returns are subject to the following conditions:

·         No returns will be accepted without prior notification

  • All products must be returned in their original packaging with all manuals and accessories, unused, and must be in ‘as new’ condition. With some drop off deliveries this includes being strapped back to the pallet for shipping purposes.
  • Refund of items listed as 'free delivery' will include a deduction of the original delivery costs incurred by us. This will be no more than 20% of individual product price PLUS any surcharge for delivery to a location outside UK mainland.
  • Goods shall be returned to All About Safes or their named agent. Any postage and packing costs incurred on returned items are for the buyer’s account and are NON-REFUNDABLE, unless the items are faulty or damaged.
  • Please allow up to 31 days for refunds to be processed and credited to your account.
  • Professional installation or bespoke modifications are not refundable.
  • Some returned items are subject to up a maximum 25% restock charge. This percentage is at our discretion.
