Please read these Terms & Conditions carefully before using this website or placing an order.

1. Acceptance of Terms

1.1. By accessing and using the All About Safes Ltd website (the "Site"), you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions.

1.2. All About Safes Ltd reserves the right to update or modify these terms, product prices, and site information at any time without prior notice. Continued use of the Site following any changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

2. Stock & Availability

2.1. All orders are subject to stock availability.

2.2. If an ordered item is out of stock, we will attempt to contact you within forty-eight (48) hours using the contact details provided with your order.

2.3. If we are unable to supply the goods, any payments made for the unsupplied items will be refunded in full.

3. Warranties & Statutory Rights

3.1. Products sold on this Site are subject to varying manufacturer warranties. Manufacturer specifications and warranty terms may change without notice.

3.2. If a product is faulty, damaged, or misdescribed, you are entitled to a repair, replacement, or refund in accordance with your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.

4. Orders & Pricing

4.1. Order placement constitutes an offer to purchase. A contract is only formed once you receive an explicit order dispatch or acceptance confirmation from All About Safes Ltd.

4.2. We reserve the right to decline or cancel any order prior to acceptance on reasonable grounds (e.g., pricing errors, suspected fraud, or supply limitations). If an order is canceled, you will be notified within 48 hours and refunded in full.

4.3. Orders exceeding £1,000.00 (inclusive of VAT) may require additional identity or payment verification prior to processing.

4.4. All prices are displayed both inclusive and exclusive of VAT at the prevailing UK rate (currently 20%).

5. Payment & 30-Day Credit Terms

5.1. We accept major credit and debit cards as displayed during checkout.

5.2. Credit terms may be granted at the discretion of All About Safes Ltd following a formal account application. We reserve the right to perform credit reference agency searches on companies and their directors.

5.3. Unless otherwise agreed in writing, approved credit accounts are strictly net 30 days from the date of invoice.

5.4. If payment is not received within 30 days of the invoice date, All About Safes Ltd reserves the right to suspend further deliveries or services. Late payments shall accrue interest at 5% per annum above the prevailing Bank of England base rate, calculated daily from the due date until paid in full, alongside any statutory or reasonable debt recovery costs incurred.

6. Delivery

6.1. Deliveries are fulfilled via our fleet or trusted third-party carriers.

6.2. Drop-Off Delivery: Eligible items qualify for free standard delivery to mainland UK addresses. Off-shore, Scottish Highlands/Islands, and Northern Ireland addresses require a bespoke delivery quote. Standard delivery typically takes 2–3 working days from payment confirmation.

6.3. Deliver & Position Service: Safe placement inside a building is based on a ground-floor delivery location with no more than one entering step. Delivery typically takes 5–10 working days. Additional charges apply if stairs or complex access routes are involved.

6.4. Delivery dates provided are estimates only. All About Safes Ltd is not liable for indirect losses, lost profits, or expenses caused by delivery delays beyond our reasonable control.

6.5. Proof of Delivery & Transit Damage: A signature is required upon delivery. You must inspect outer packaging upon receipt. Any transit damage must be reported to our customer service team within 24 hours of delivery.

6.6. Aborted Deliveries: You are responsible for providing accurate delivery details (e.g., steps, lift capacity, narrow access). Failed deliveries resulting from inaccurate access information will incur an aborted delivery fee.

7. Installation Services

7.1. Safes must be installed according to manufacturer specifications to maintain cash ratings and insurance validities. Unless explicitly purchased, installation is not included in the purchase price.

7.2. It is the buyer's sole responsibility to verify floor loading capacities prior to installation. All About Safes Ltd accepts no liability for structural damage caused by exceeding floor load limits.

7.3. Where our professional installation service is booked, the access route and final location must be clear of obstructions. Skirting boards or fixtures interfering with wall/floor mounting must be removed prior to engineer arrival.

7.4. If an installation cannot proceed due to uncleared access, structural issues, or inaccurate site information, the installation fee will remain non-refundable.

8. Cancellations & Returns

8.1. Consumer Rights (Right to Cancel): Consumer buyers have the legal right to cancel their order within 14 days of receiving the goods under the Consumer Contracts Regulations.

8.2. Return Authorization: Before returning any item, you must contact All About Safes Ltd to receive return instructions. Returns sent without prior notice may be delayed or rejected.

8.3. Condition: Returned items must be unused, in "as-new" resalable condition, and in their original packaging complete with all keys, accessories, and manuals.

8.4. Return Shipping: Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the buyer unless the item is faulty or delivered in error.

8.5. Exclusions: Customized, made-to-order items (e.g., cut keys, custom lockers, or bespoke safe configurations) are strictly non-refundable unless defective.

8.6. Refunds will be processed within 14 days of receiving the returned goods using the original payment method.

10. Limitation of Liability

10.1. The Site and its contents are provided on an "as is" basis without warranties of any kind regarding completeness, accuracy, or server uptime, subject to statutory consumer protections.

10.2. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits the liability of All About Safes Ltd for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any liability that cannot be excluded under English law.
